Hello, It’s a pleasure to meet you all. My name is Ronald Inoue, but you can call me Mr. Inoue. I am currently the English teacher at English Village, I also teach at Daiichi Zemi. I’m from New York City, the big apple! It’s a great place and I urge you to visit if you haven’t, there’s plenty of things to do and see. My hobbies include exercising, traveling, learning new things, and studying different languages, by far my favorite is learning new languages. To have the ability to communicate with other people from around the world is just so exciting, it feels almost magical. As some of you know I live in Tokushima and I’m enjoying my time here. It’s peaceful and there are many events that make this city exciting to live in, for example Awa Odori is one of them. A lot of students think that English is difficult, or impossible to learn, I’m here to tell you it’s not! In fact, it’s easy. As a person who loves languages, practicing speaking, in my opinion, is the most important thing you can do to improve and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. When learning a language, making mistakes is part of the process, so don’t worry. Now, when I say practice, I mean speaking! Trying to speak will help you improve faster, try not to reply using one word, try to speak in sentences. I promise it’s going to pay off.
